Dr Chanukya Colonne

Chan is a physician-scientist based in Sydney, specialising in CAR-T cell therapy and immuno-oncology, with a focus on advancing treatments for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML). She completed her specialist haematology training at Westmead and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals, where she gained hands-on experience in the clinical implementation and delivery of CAR-T therapies. Currently, Chan is a postdoctoral research fellow in Professor Cameron Turtle’s laboratory at the University of Sydney, developing next-generation CAR-T cell therapies for AML. Alongside her research, she serves as a clinical trials fellow at Royal North Shore Hospital, helping translate cutting-edge therapies into patient care.
